454 casull reloading

I reload 45 long colt, and my father recently bought a 454 casull. Can I use my 45 LC dies to load 454? They are RCBS dies if that makes any difference.

  You just can't full-lenght resize. Same as using .44 sp dies for .44 mag or .38 sp dies for .357 mag or max.

  I used 45 Colt dies to load for my .454. Worked quite well.

  When you use the LC dies for the Casull..be sure they get the whole case resized...the tolerances on my Freedom arms revolver are so close,an improperly resized case won't chamber...
