Model 11 Remington

I'm looking for a barrel for a old model 11 Remington 12 ga auto...any ideas where to find one?

  I was wondering if it would be a good choice to take this shotgun that is short the buttstock and forearm wood and the barrel needs replaced to find "if possible" a short legal length barrel and turn it into a home defense shotgun? I thought the semi-auto would be nice and being a 20 guage would be easier on my wife too shoot. I aquired it this way from a friend that was cleaning his closet. I sure looks a lot like my Bel.Browning A500. Thanks for the input... Mike
