hi. looking at win m.12 20ga, 1942
nice shape about 90%I guees.
MY book is 3 years old, blue book
I hear value is going down becaues of
steel shot. Is this true??

  VALUE IS NOT GOING DOWN ON THESE BECAUSE OF STEEL SHOT, THESE OLD GUN SHOULD NEVER BE FIRED WITH STEEL SHOT ANYWAY. M-12 20 GA. ARE COLLECTABLE AND VERY SHOOTABLE WITH LEAD SHOT ONLY. IF NOTHING ELSE SPECAIL ABOUT THE GUN PRICE SHOULD BE ABOUT $400/$500 IN 80%.

  yes do not shoot steel shot in theses i found that out the hard way with dads mod 12 20ga with full choke a longtime ago, while duck hunting spit the end of the barrel about 2 inches back or so a pipe cutter and file fixed the problem but destroyed the value of the gun as collector still shoots good though.
