This is one of the Overly Decorated .22 Single Action guns which are all basically the same with the exception that they decorate differently by applying silver, gold, blue, etc., finishes in various different places with a little bit of engraving to identify what the gun is supposed to be.

The correct Colt name for this gun is "1969 Golden Spike Scout." When first issued, retail price was $135.00, (in 1969). The latest edition of "The Blue Book of Gun Values" gives a book value of $475.00 for a gun in 100% condition. I have personally seen quite a few of these at gun shows during the past year priced at $300 and under in NIB condition. There was 11,000 of these manufactured. Hope this helps.
