sears C-2

I picked up a Sears C-2 >22 cal. for plinking around, the problem is that I can not pull the bolt off of the firle. If any one could help me it would me gratlt appriciated.

  Welcome to the board.
  
  The Sears 2C is a Winchester model 131, magazine fed, bolt
  action .22. I am not familiar with the 131, but bolt removal on
  most old .22's is as follows-
  make sure the weapon is unloaded, lift the bolt handle and pull
  rearward, pull the trigger and pull the bolt out of the receiver.
  
  Don't send flowers when I die. Send money now, I can buy more ammo.
