S&W 1917
In which direction do you turn the ejector rod to remove it from a Smith & Wesson model 1917 (2nd model hand ejector)?

There was NO second model of the 1917. When the changes were made to it it was changed to the .45 hand ejector model of 1950 and then the .45 hand ejector model of 1955. The .45 hand ejector model of 1955 was made long enough that it could have threads turning EITHER direction, depending upon when it was made. The actual 1917 will have nothing butright hand threads for counterclockwise remooval. The .455 hand ejector had a second model, but the .45 Hand Ejector U.S. Service model of 1917 had no second model.
The second admendment GUARANTEES the other nine and the Constitution!0
