I prefer Meprolight night sights over any other. They are by far the brightest and clearest of any night sights I have owned.

I put a 3.5lb connector on my Glock 17. I use it to shoot in IDPA competition. I would not recommend putting it on a gun that I was going to use for concealed carry for the legal ramifications that it might cause should you have to defend yourself with the gun. The 3.5lb connector certainly gives the Glock a lighter trigger pull.

I even took a wood burning tool to the grips of my 17 and stippled them. Sure beats the decals that you can put on them to achieve a better grip.

Meprolight night sights are a good product. Their service providers have changed hands several times, but I have always had great service from them. BTW, it is handled by Kimber now, not a bad company. The extended slide stop levers should be standard on all Glocks in my opinion. Wouldn't have or issue one without it. Aside from that, the extended slide lock, mag catch, backstrap insert and stainless guide rod are not necessary at all. I agree with sfetty regarding the 3.5 connector. "He put a "hair" trigger in it 'cause he wanted to shoot somebody" - that king of crap. Stick with the standard 5 lb connector. It's not that much more anyway.

Well, it's not bad. I bought a new spring and rod for my Glock awhile back, just because I didn't like the idea of a plastic recoil rod. The extended slide stop is nice, but certainly not necessary. It all boils down to personal preference.
For personal or home defense, you might get the sights. But save the rest of your money for a good flashlight.

I've bought some stuff from glock meister. The extended slide stop is good, the back strap insert is good(I use mine to store extra laser batteries). I like the extended mag catch, but I don't know how good it is for duty. It's much easier to use, and it looks really cool, but it opens you up to inadvertantly dropping a mag. I've never done it, but when you set your gun down on it's mag catch it will press it. I wouldn't change mine, but if I used it for duty I would question its importance much more. It would be a must for IDPA competition.
    Good luck,
    Ben
