Taurus .17HMR revolver?

At the Taurus site they show a Tracker titanium revolver in .17HMR but I can't find any info about it or a way to contact taurus. Would like to read a gun test on it. Anyone out there know about this? Thanks, Harry

  We have been anxiously awaiting these guns but they are hard to find. I dont think they have even hit the market yet. HAvent seen any reviews either.

  You guys have got me interested now. I was thinking of getting a Taurus Raging Hornet, but the .17 looks like even more fun!!! Can't wait till this one starts popping up.

  I called Taurus and they told me .17 would be available in November!I hope someone does a field test soon. Harry

  Do not buy this pistol!!!
  
  This is a rifle calibre and there is no sense buying a hand gun to shoot it.
  
  I purchased a Tracker in .22 WMR and it was a nice revolver if you are a revolver guy - a heck of a muzzle flash (un burned powder as the barrel was too short - 6 1/2" it is a rifle calibre) but it was accurate.
  
  I paid $340. out the door (TTL) and I sold it for $225. a nice loss 6 months later.
  
  I was warned about rifle calibres in pistol configuration on this forum but I did not listen. Maybe you can learn by my mistake!!!
  
  
  of course I like small animals - especially when they are prepared in a savory gravey

  I Emailed American Handgunner and received this reply from the Editor: Got a test pending on the .17 Taurus so keep an eye out. Preliminary tests show it's a dandy and a real shooter. I'd buy one if you like it, 'Cause the one we have, to shoot, has been an awful lot of fun!! I posted this because it seems that a lot of people are interested. Harry- vega@cyber-dyne.com
