johnb--I think I saw at least one of those books advertised in a recent GunList. The ad was run by Pack and Postal Center. Unfortunately, I don't have the issue still. That company though runs an ad in almost every issue., Have you checked amazon.com?

I saw the same ad in Gunlist. There were two full pages of books listed...not sure if your title was among them. Pack and Postal phone
978-368-0910 or FAX @ 978-368-3326. Who ever runs the place knows quite a lot about the current value of his books as the prices were at market value.

This set goes on eBay for $25 to $100, depending on edition, condition, etc. Originally published as a two volume set with slipcovers and box. A first edition, excellent condition with slipcovers and box, signed by author with separate supplement set would be top dollar; an average condition mis-match set the low dollar. There was a supplemental volume; later editions included the supplement in volume two. Also later published as a single volume.

redcedars, mine is a matching set no slipcovers or supplements.

In that case, I think $60 - $80.
I haven't checked up on this one for a while. Try going over to eBay and checking for it in closed auctions under both the title and the authors name. Should give you a good idea, although I think book prices are higher in the winter months.
