* Interesting Custom Rifle *
I came across an interesting custom rifle over the weekend.
The action is from and XP100. The bolt is fluted with a flat spoon type handle. The barrel is a 20" SS Hart 223 Bull with a recessed crown. It has a jewel trigger that goes off when you look at it. Leupold Mounts and rings and high power scope with AO. It has a synthetic rifle shoulder stock fitted to and RC Custom Billet Aluminum Skeletonized Style Stock. He also had the orginal 15" SS 7TCU Fluted pistol barrel and pistol grip and a custom siloutte type sight that looks like a hollowed out Unertl scope witha a post in front and external Unertl Adjustment Mount for the rear.
Really neat looking setup; what's it worth? RC Custom?
I figure on a rough estimate, the barrel is worth about $300, the action is worth about $300, the trigger is worth about $200, and the stock is worth about $300, just in parts, not counting labor.

Has anyone heard of RC Custom? I think it's in north Texas.

If you figure new cost, the prices may be OK. Once it's all put together It's just another oddball rifle.
