I can only pass on the results experienced by Gun Tests Mag. Don't Buy. The double action trigger pull was beyond human strength. Their gauge only went to 25#. The pistol would not properly feed a second rd. on it's own. And they were afforded the opportunity to clear some of the most horrendous jams that they ever experienced. The brass would fix itself to the feed ramp like a weld. In their words.

I own one and I sell them. They are not as bad as the biased Gun tests publication would have you believe. I have had a few minor bugs with my pistol and it is still the best darn under $200.00 pistol I have ever seen or owned. Whatever you do, stay away from the die cast crap pistols. i.e. jennings, lorcin, raven, davis, hi-point etc.

Just as an option to the Carpati, I like the CZ 52 and am trying to talk myself out of getting 1. At surplus prices of $129 with holster and 2 mags, it sounds like a good deal. A note on Gun Test. They state that a gun should work properly out of the box. Naturally, most can be made to work by tweaking, changing springs, polishing, etc. If this is the case, the gun usually fails. This is not a defense of Gun Test, and they usually will point out where improvement is possible.
