Sorry if you thought I asked such a stupid question that it deserved no response! I have always owned pumps and am not familiar with the semi-auto! To me it was a legitimate question!!!
Maybe some day I will be an expert and I can ignore dumb questions from Junior Members Also! NOT!!!!!0 -
I found that most gun shops carried an O ring for my Rem 1100 & I would guess it is the same one. I forget what I had to pay but I remember I thought it was rather pricy.
You do need the O ring but I wonder if you couldn't find a much cheaper one that would do the job at a local hardware store.0 -
Brownell's has them, or Gun Parts Corporation. You can order from Brownells online. O-rings from part stores will not work, been there, tried that. Get the factory replacement and yes, they do seem high priced, but the gun is useless without it. 0 -
I wondered the same thing, I have enough of the oring left to match it up, but not sure if that would be the smart thing to do? Evidently the gun will still function with out it, Im sure it didn't break on the last shot. I will replace ir before I take the gun back out and I will buy a few xtra, as I have not shot many rounds thru the gun as yet! Guess they must break easily! 0 -
No problem, The o-ring is nothing special, just go to an auto-supply or hardware store and match it up. The last time I did this was right before they closed in the middle of a hunting trip. Neither I nor the owner had enough patience to match it up so i just bought a "variety box" and headed out the door. Still working fine and that was 1995 I believe.
The gun will be a single shot without it, no harm.
