    Personally,I wouldn't use either one. Everyone who has been around this forum for the past couple of years knows my low opinion of the Nosler bullet. If I were going with a premium bullet in .30 caliber of around 150-170 grain weight,I would go with the Barnes 165 grain boat tail X. Useing this bullet in my Remington 721,caliber 300 H&H Mag.,I have made some very long one shot kills.

    For any whitetail sized game, the balistic silvertip will make it look as though you shot them with a softball at 1000mph. Absolutely wicked performance with the nosler balistic tip. I use them for all my crop damage shooting, and I don't look for my animal, becasue it is laying right where it was standing. My partner uses 150gr bullets in a 300wm and I use 150 gr nosler BT in a 7mm mag. The polycarbonite tip makes them buck the wind and group up amazingly well at long range.

    A great rifle with a junk scope,....is junk.
