Ouch, sounds to me like your looking for a wallet hurting... If I were you I'd start looking for some aftermarket baxer primed brass. As a matter of fact, I'll help you. I'll add another post to this later if I find anything.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

Ok, here we go, this is what I found. Buffalo Arms Co. phone (208) 263-6935 sells it.

    7.35mm Italian Carcano $70 for 100pieces.

Its kinda pricy, but it will be alot cheaper than trying to reload berdained prime brass.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

It would be cheaper for me to re-load the berdan primed brass I already have. But having already formed boxer would be much less of a hassle. A guy I buy alot of obsolite ammo stuff from at local gun shows has some and is looking to see what sizes and quanties he has. He usually gives me good prices on stuff since I tend to buy his entire supply of what I am looking for.

They wouldn't happen to have a web site would they, incase he doesn't have the size that I need. Thanks for the info on the cases.

I already got a set of RCBS dies for a song about a year ago. The only data I have is from Catridges of the World. I have a bunch of 170 gr. SP bullets if you would happen to find any load data for that that would be great.

    Thanks again for your help

6.5 Carcano or 6.5 Mannlicher Schoenaur can be used to form 7.35 Carcano cases at a much lower price; in fact PRVI partisan makes reloadable 6.5 ammo for about $12/20 if you have a 6.5 Carcano as well. Re: berdan primers- you need a special decapper. RCBS makes one called the Lachmiller, but I don't have any experience with it. If you do go that route, Old Western Scrounger is pretty much the only US dealer, and he is backordered for over a year and thinks RWS is going to stop making them anyhow. There are several sizes, but they can help you out if you call them and tell them what you need. So really, go for the boxer. Midway usa has boxer primable 6.5 Carcano brass for $13.49/20 so it would be cheaper to get the loaded PRVI ammo anyhow- I think empire arms has it yet. With either 6.5 Cartridge, just run through the 7.35 Sizer die, trim to length, and you are set.

One further thought on cost- primers must be sent insured with a HazMat fee. Ordering 1000 primers will cost you something like $30 for the primers themselves, but another $30 for hazmat, more for air shipping... in total it would be like $80 just for the primers so unless you buy them by the crate it ain't worth it. Go with boxer primed stuff.
