value of high standard

i have a high standard nickel double nine with both cylinders---gun is in good shape with powder burn above upper cylinder on frame--serial mo59xxxx---can anyone give me an estimate of value???thanks friends---no box or accessories

  Probably worth $225 - $250, retail. Be careful of bluebook values, some of the guides don't list the HS revolvers correctly, and are worthless for valuation purposes. I gave a bunch of info on these to the HS Collector's Ass'n, and I know they have been working sith Ned Schwing and corrected some of the errors in the Standard Catalog, but I haven't looked at the latest edition to see if they got it right. Even if the listings are correct, there are enough variations to make valuations difficult. But the steel frame dual cylinder guns were the latest and best, and the nickel guns are harder to find than the blue ones.
