Sorry I can't help, but wanted to comment that I have never gotten an answer to an Email sent to Wilson and I've sent 5.
I guess they don't need my business.

Brownells sells Wilson stuff and they are very prompt in answering queries. Try them.

Judging by what I see in the Brownells catalog 5in,Match barrel, 033-545, it is not ramped.

If I can get this cat off my lap so I can type....ok, now then. I have a gunsmithing book that illustrates the installation of a wilson barrel in a glock, a "drop-in" barrel, and shows how to properly fit it, because they aren't really drop in. But it also showed the authors great improvement in accuracy over the factory barrel, and I can say that I was impressed enough to add it to my list of project.

But I also see a chapter on 1911 barrel installation, and none of them actually seem to "drop-in" either.

In my opinion, you may be better off talking with a gunsmith.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

I shot an email out to brownells about this. Hopefully they will have the answer. I intend to use this barrel in my .45 i am building.

When the barrel arrives, I have to know if it is non ramped or ramped.
A non-ramped barrel will require that I cut a .010-.020" counter sink below the recoil face which will prevent the slide stop lugs from smashing into the frame and and shearing off the lugs.

The ad at Wilson's says that "All ramped barrels are ramped for Wilson cut unless otherwise specified". The drop in barrel has specification for this. I would rather know for sure because sometimes sellers forget to list all the info about their product.
I really don't need a broken barrel at the range!
