savage 1903
I inherited what appears to be a savage 1903 rifle. The magazine is missing and the barrel appears to be rusted and plugged so there is little chance it can be restored as a shooter. I took it apart and the internal parts appear servicable so I'm looking at selling it for parts. My question is since the receiver can essentially be split what part of this gun is considered the receiver, the portion attached to the barrel or the portion with the trigger assembly?

My brother wants to sell me his savage 1903 .22 rifle. Can someone tell me the approximate value - gun is about 90% thanks 0 -
Robert - Don't have my books with me now but I would say $250-$300 for a nice specimen. There is a beauty on the Auction block right now, watch it and see what it brings. # 5306068 on GunBroker. If you can get it for $200, buy it .. or sell it to me 0 -
