All most forgot the serial number. It is #228769-- 0 -
Blue Book shows year was 1902. I beleive the .38 WCF is
the .38-40 WCF. My book is several years old, but from
the time period of this Colt it shows $3700 at 50% condition.
Don't send flowers when I die. Send money now, I can buy more ammo.0 -
I got unlazy, and dug out a book.It is a 38-40 bottleneck cartridge.Used in both rifles, and pistols.I own alot of single actions, but no real Colts.I have been sitting here cocking it.People say when you cock one you can hear it spell out the word Colt.
And when you spin the cylinder, it sings.Feels so different than my Rugers.I want one.if it could only talk.
