PRE-BAN FOREGRIP QUESTION
hello,
i recently purchased a pre ban Spectre 9mm semi-auto pistol. along with the pistol came a pre-ban factory fore grip for it. i believe that it is legal to mount the preban factory foregrip to the pre-ban pistol. others say that is NOT legal. does anybody know for sure?
...if it's worth doin', it's worth overdoin'...

You said yourself that they are both pre-ban and that they were bought together. The law says that you cannot add the "banned items" to a gun(receiver) that was made(serial #ed) after 1994. If the weapon(receiver) is preban you can use any original/replacement parts made for that gun. 0 -
Mark is quite correct. The illegality of a foregrip has nothing what so ever, to do with it being Pre-ban or Post-ban. It has to do with it being a pistol. They did make a carbine conversion as well as a full auto version of the Spectre. The foregrip "IS" legal on either of those, but not the pistol. 0
