    Capecod, when you say "cleaned up", that could mean many things. My gunsmith will hot blue a pistol for 40.00 if you take it apart and no polishing is required. Polishing is what makes the blue look good. If there is a lot of pitting and rust, no amount of blue will help. The polishing is the most expensive part of the deal, and the most labor intensive. That gives you a starting point anyway and some things to think about. Good luck,

    depends on what rifle you are taking about, m-98 mauser= simple not to much rust probably about $60 to $80. browning bar grd.2 w/engraving= much harder up to $200.
