22-250 semi-auto

Hay,Is there any body that knows if anyone is building a 22-250 is a semi-auto? I can't find a remington or Browning.Any ideas? Thanks,Oro

  I havent heard of any Manufacture planning it.I dont know why it couldnt be done.One reason may be the 22-250 is known for its accuracy and stability.And that couldnt be achieved in a semi-auto.Then its not as cheap to shoot as the .223 and could not compete against it on the Market.My best guess

  I dont recall ever seeing or reading about a semi-auto in 22-250.
  Dont think the demands of the public would be very high.
  22-250 is noted for its accuracy and that is why it is popular with bolt actions and single shot rifles.
  I'm not a big ruger fan at all, But often thought they should offer the mini-14 rifle in different calibers, Like the new winchester short magnum series such as the 300 wsm and 270 wsm. Or perhaps just a 308 win or as you wish a 22-250. Maybe if everyone emails them and tells them what they would like to see new on the market, The will perhaps concider building new calibers in the mini-14 rifle.
  Or any other manufacturer for all that matter.
  
  someone does chamber the M14 rifle in 243 win, This would be an alternitive to your wish to a 22-250. Not sure who does the 243 win offering in the M14 rilfe though, You will need to do some research or perhaps someone on here knows who made them.

  Myself I dont think you would whant a 22-250 in semi auto If one was made. Beacuse of the short fat case design I bet it would be a pain.
  That would almost be like a 6mm ppc in semi auto. Some rounds are just better served in bolt guns.

  Thanks guys.I agree,the bolt action is they way to go,I wouldn't give mine up for nothing.I love it.The semi-auto was for a customer and we was just looking and wondering.It looks like he is going with a bolt action.I am suprised that the BAR or 7600 was never built in 22-250,here in Utah the 22-250 is a very popular gun.Thanks again.Oro
