Nagant 7.65
I have recently inhereted a Nagant 7.65 revolver, I think it may be pre 1900's.
I inhereted it from My grandmother, who inhereted it from Her grandmother.
It has a fold away trigger, and the hammer is not visible, I have been looking for pictures, but cannot find anything.
Is there any books or Experts in the Nagant field that can help Me?

I can't say that I can help you but if you go to the forum at www.gunboards.com there is an 1895 Nagant forum there, devoted specifically to these pistols. A pic would really be worth a thousand words though.
Welcome!

i think FAC sells a conversion cylinder that is chambered for .32 acp. the original ammo is hard to find. i think we have a few boxes of fiocchi in the shop. email me at waltsgun@aol.com if interested. these are nice revolvers, and very odd from a technical point of view.

Jonk and Mrmike,
Reading what Gfdannhauser says...

...I don't think it's a "1895 gas seal" Nagant.0 -

Are you sure it is a 7.65? Sounds like a "muff" gun, but those were generally smaller cartridge guns. What if any markings are on the gun?
