Olympic Arms AR-15

I have an Olympic Arms with a copy of the original reciept in'94. I also have a letter from Oly arms w/ the serial # stating that this is a legal pre-ban semi-automatic assault rifle. Its an Oly "K4B" or complete 20" carbine. It has 3 position collapsible stock, bayonet lug,flash suppressor, 16" barrel, and 7 Parson(GI) 30 rd. mags.
I bought this prior to 2000 and prior to Californias ban. I think I might have gotten ripped off. How much do you guys think it is worth? Thanks-Mark

  my brother has an olympic arms mod# sgw car-ar (aa1045) for sale, and i am trying to determine the sales price.

  Prices tend to vary with options.With the three 30rd mags in 98% condition around $800.00.For the gun you mention,they are good guns by the way.

  Thanks Rugster, thats what I figured. I did get ripped off, but I think during the time period I bought it the prices were a little high around here because of California's new laws that were going into effect. Yah it is a good gun haven't had any problems and I enjoy shooting it.

  You might not have necessarily gotten ripped off, it might just have been the market value at the time.
  
  I understand how you feel, when it comes to buying guns, everyone seem's to have learned the hard way, and everyone's always looking for a sucker.
  
  I myself purchased a pre-ban Colt Parts gun for $1200, but it turned out that it was actually assembled by a Colt authorized armorer using all colt parts, and even had ramp cuts, so even though some would say I paid to much, I'm perfectly happy.
  
  If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

  you didn't say what you paid>> olymipic arms is a sleeper company, that has been making high quality firearms for many many years, fully guarenteed, being a pre-ban, & in california, what kind of premium!! do you put on that alone???
