Taurus Millenium???
I want a reliable conceal gun. I have heard a lot about the Kel-Tec's. What about Taurus? Kel-Tec is 100 dollars cheaper but is it worth it to buy a Taurus instead? Does Taurus make a .40 (My other handguns are .40)? Thanks!

the PT-100 is 40cal, but is a some what large gun, 5"barrel. The Pt140 is the compact 40 somwaht the same size as thePT-111 millennium, and they also make a pt-940, which is a compact p1-100. I would pay the extra for the Taurus. Have a 92 9mm and a relvover, been happy with both. Shot a Kel-tech 9mm, didn't care for it much, but I carry a glock 26 for concealed. 0 -
Ive shot both and was more impressed with the Taurus, and the life time warranty from Taurus makes it worth the extra $100.00.
Best!!!

There is a thread regarding various pro's and con's between the Taurus and KelTec

I should also add that Kel-Tec's guns also have a superb lifetime warranty. I have dealt with Kel-Tec for warrantied repair on my Kel-Tec guns, and I and everyone I know who owns a Kel-Tec find their service to be first rate. 0 -
I'll take the KEL-TEC.Taurus is nothing but a KEL-TEC Copy.KEL-TEC's Lifetime Warranty even extends to second of third owners even thou it does not say so.

I only have experience with the Taurus PT 111 (I think) Millenium in 9mm. I did NOT like the trigger pull at all. I do like other Taurus products, the Millenium is not one of them. I have heard both good and bad about Kel-Tec. As far as I know, both have a good warranty policy.
Try before you buy if you can.0 -
Neighbor had one, he hated the trigger pull, and it jammed all the time! He sent it back twice, and still wasn't satisfied so he traded it. Maybe just a lemon but then again maybe not. Pa. 0 -
I had a PT111 in under 6 months the slide disassembley pin broke in half. Sent it back to Taurus it took over 3 months to get it back and when it was returned they had squashed the rear sight. Eventually traded it. I do have a Model 605 revolver from them and this is a nice gun. Could be I was unlucky with the PT111 but I probably would not buy a pistol from them again.

I've heard that semi-autos run hot and cold, but the Taurus wheelguns are pretty nice.
