Win. .223 Ammunition - JHP ???

Good day,
A rookie question - I have had very good results with Winchester's
USA2232 JHP ammunition. It comes in a 40 round box. The bullets appear to be "round nose". I purchased some USA2232F ammunition, which is supposed to be... the exact same product only in a 50 round box. These bullets (USA2232F) have all the appearances of a hollow point. The hollow points appear to be slightly less accurate than the round nose.

According to the Winchester site the product in either size box is the same (even though it isn't in reality). Yes, I have asked Winchester what gives but have not received a response yet.

Two questions:

- has anyone else seen this, and if so, have you found a
performance difference ?

- which bullet, round nose or hollow point, should be more
accurate. I am target shooting, therefore, kill power is
irrelevant (to me).

Any observations/opinions appreciated.
