Ruger Mini-14/Ranch Rifle
What are the differences between these two pieces? Thanks.

the mini 14 comes in two variations. The Ranch rifle has an action that is milled to accept Ruger scope rings, the regular version does not. 0 -
Yes, all mini14 mags fit both guns. 0 -
I believe the Ranch has an aperture(sp?) sight and the standard a reular sight if I'm remembering my Ruger catalog correctly.

When buying a new gun, remember, it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission.0 -
The ranch rifle is milled to accept Ruger rings, the standard version isn't. The standard version has a permanent ghost ring rear sight, while the ranch version has a fold-down, rather flimsy ring rear sight. 0 -
Its a half days hiketo pick up the brass from the Rancher. The way the ejector is set up. It really kicks the brass out flat to the right so it doesn't hit the scope.

I will have to agree, it does seem like the ejector has a different angle on the Ranch rifle.
