Dumb Question about mauser 96 and 98 ls
I got my Cabelas master catalog today and on page 482 is a very nice looking replacement gun stock (Freedom Tan). I see that you can get it for the mauser 96 ls and 98 ls. Charles Daly offers a barreled Mauser action. Would I be able to put that barreled action in that replacement stock or is that too much to hope for?

The Chas Daly action uses a side safety. You will have to inlet the stock to fit there. The Chas Daly barrel is tapered while the military barrel is stepped. The finished product will not look as nice as you might like.
