Did anybody hear of this gun. I bought it at an auction . Made in Norwich, Conn. Pat.1898. Is it a collectable ?

  DAVENPORT,W.H. Providence, R.I. 1880-1883, Norwich, Conn. 1890-1900..
  Maker of side by side 8 Ga. shotguns.. Also made Singleshot Shotguns in various Gauges, Hammer, and came with Steel Barrel.. The Double Barrel in 8 Ga., in good shooting Condition is worth $450.00 and the Single barrel in Good Shooting Condition...$250.00...
