.25-06 load for Russian boar

I was wondering if anyone out there has any good recipes for a .25-06 load that they have tried on wild hogs, or any loads that they have been impressed with in the past on game that is along the smae lines. Thanks for the help!!

  I don't give load info but use a penetrating type bullet ( nosler partition, barnes X, or similar.

  I have killed around thirty using Winchester factory 120 gr Positive Expanding Point factory loads.If you are going to reload follow mobucks advice. I would also add the Hornady SST and Interlock.

  Mobuck and Varmit Hunter has the right idea on bullets. If you handload, you might try dropping your muzzle velocity back a tad. Say to around 3200 or even 3000. This will help that bullet go deep and expand where it needs to do its work.

  Thanks for all of the advise. I'm going to take factory loads this time, but I will likely handload for the next trip. I bought Win. 120gr. PEP and Hornady 117gr Interlock BTSP. Hopefully, I'll get a chance to try both!!
