C-More vs ATN
Does any one have any experience with ither of these two scopes? The difference in cost is $100.00. I want to mount it on my AR type rifle. Thank for any assistance.

I have the Colt Scout sight made by C-More and I love it. It is mounted on a gooseneck in front of the carry handle which, in my opinion, makes the gun easier to handle. Seems to be a " better" idea than putting something on the top of the carry handle.IMHO... 0 -
Are either one of these sights more shooter friendly than a Bushnell Holosight? If it is then it's a heckuva sight!!! I haven't used either of these but if they improved on a Holosight they did GOOD!! GHD 0 -
As far as an AR goes, unless you have an A3 Type flattop upper reciever, I only recommend a scout type setup, not scope on top of a carry handle. Scout setup is excellent, allows you to look thru your rear peep at a red dot that sits ontop of you front sight post, just put the dot on what you want to shoot. Very vast target aquisition. Scopes on top of the carry handle have always been rather clumbsy to use in my opinion, though I've never used a cheek piece that would bring my eye into natural alignment with one.
Between the two, I'd highly recommend getting a C-More/Colt Factory gooseneck setup. You can find them in shotgun news for a reasonable price, basically wholesale. And C-More has a long standing reputation with USPSA shooters where its practically a standard. I haven't really heard or seen anyone use an ATN, but it just sounds like something where you'd be just the same off with a cheap little BSA scope.
Get the C-More, you won't be sorry.
The only other alternatives that would ever mount on my gun would be either an Aimpoint or a trijicon.
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.
