Uzi Carbine .22LR Conversion Kit Question
Does anyone have any info on where I might obtain a .22LR conversion kit for my 9mm Uzi? I know they were offered by the manufacturer many years ago - unfortunately I didn't order one then. Thanks

I saw one listed @ vectorarms.com - a too am interested in buying a 22 conversion kit for my uzi. let me know if you order one, how much it costs and how well it works 0 -
CDNN from Abiline, TX @800-588-9500 sold these .22 UZI kits for quite a while a few years back. The price was well under $200. I've checked their catalog and see a few other caliber conversions listed- but no .22LR. You may want to give them a call to see if they might still have a few of these .22 kits left in stock. CDNN still has a good supply of various UZI parts and accessories.

just bought one from jhardesty@seidata.com. full auto 22 lr. $275 + shipping, extra 20 rnd mags $45. Vector mfg. work like a dream! he said he had one left.

capecod,
I would highly recommend RancheroPaul.
Not only does he have the 22LR UZI Conversion and extra mags, he has many other UZI "toys".
I've been ordering from Paul for the last 3 months and everything is priced fairly and delivered quickly.
Plus, if you have any UZI related questions-he'll have the answers.0 -
Sorry guys - I lost track of my original post and becasue of this I didn't respond to questions. Contact "Ranchero Paul" - his message appears above. I know he had 22LR Uzi conversion kits at a reasonable price. I purchased one from him and it works perfectly. I also have 9mm (caliber of the Uzi when I bought it back in the 80's) and a 45acp conversion kit.
Paul is a great guy to do business with. I honestly don't remember what I paid for the 22LR and 45acp kits - its been too long ago.
I can tell you this though - I haven't shot a single 9mm or 45acp round in my Uzi since I bought the 22LR conversion kit. I shoot strictly the 22LR's and they're just as much fun to shoot at a fraction of the cost.
