Mini 14 .22 lr conversion
Have any of you tried the Mini 14 22 lr conversion kits? I understand they go in in about 2 minutes. Are they any good? Are they accurate? Do they harm the rifle? And what about magazines? Are they special ones, and where could I get them if I went this route?
Thanks all.

I can help--but just a little. The only one I am familiar with was one made by the Jonathan Arthur Ceiner Co. A customer ordered one, we installed it and fired it extensvely. It appeared to be a good product. That was about 10 years ago, and I haven't seen one since. I haven't seen an ad by the Ceiner Co. for quite some time--so don't know if they're still in business. They also made .22 cal. conversions for various pistols including the 1911-types, and these also had a good reputation. 0 -
Thanks.
Is there any chance that they were made by Hohrein and distributed by the other company? Here's a link to one guy who sells them:
