Value of a couple guns.

Was cleaning my guns in my garage a couple days ago when a friend of my wife dropped by.Said she didn't know I liked guns(?)and went in the house and visited my better half,didn't think nothing about it.This evening after visiting with my honey again,she told me she had something for me.Walked her to her car,she popped the trunk and told me to take a box out.Carried it into the garage and inspected it.There was Big 5 sticker with a line drawing with one of those russian nagant rifes.I pulled the box open,yep that is what it contained.Said "one more thing"and pulled a bath rag out of her purse.I unwrapped it and it contained a 25 Colt pistol.I asked whats up?Her husband ran off with a co-worker about 5 years ago and left everything,and she had no use for them.I offered her compinsation,but she said she didn't want anything.I asked her if she wanted me to teach her how to use em' nope she said she is to fumble fingered and just wanted to be rid of them.The pistol looks about 98% blue,wood grips with the mag release on the grip lower corner.No model # or name except Colt name and cal 25,gun is blue mag is stainless.The rifle is unfired and has 1949 stamped ontop.Any worth?Thanks again,CW

  the rifle.. depending on the exact model/condition $40.00 to $100.00,...the colt... depending on condition $100.00 to $200.00.................WARNING ON THE HAND GUN!!! DEPENDING ON THE LAWS OF YOUR STATE.. YOU SHOULD GET AT THE VERY LEAST, A BILL OF SALE, WITH SERIAL # ON IT, FROM THE LADY!!!! EVEN IF YOU ONLY PAY HER $1.00 TO MAKE IT LEGAL...!!!!!!!!
