I have a Benelli super 90, And love it, It runs all day without cleaning and works great with all different loads. points excellent too.
Prior to the Benelli I had a remington auto and hated it.
I think if I wasn't hooked on the Benelli I would get a berreta auto, A cronie of mine has one, I tryed it out for a day and It seemed to work real nice, And price is lower then the Benelli.
Yah duckhunter has a good point, Get the correct length barrel with it thats gonna work for you, Or no matter what you buy you may be dissatisfied.

I have both the super 90, and the black eagle. They are both fine guns. My black eagle is a little fussy with light loads like 1oz of shot with under 3 dram eq. It handles 1 1/8 oz and up all the way to 3 1/2" shells just fine.
The super 90 I use for 3 gun matches and use buckshot, slugs, and heavy target loads as we shoot steel with them.
My black eagle is fairly new and may need a little more break-in.

I hunted with a Browning Gold 3.5 for 3 years and one thing I can tell you about them is that they love to be clean almost to the point of having to tear them down completely after each and every hunt. When they are clean they shoot well and handle excellent, but if it was a choice I would go with the benelli for reliabilitys sake. 0 -
The only thing I`ve got againsted the Browning is the safety makes noise when you push it on or off.I turkey hunt and don`t want a gun that goes click when I take the safety off. I`ll take the Benelli any day as it`s safety is quiet and the gun seems to fit me better. 0 -
I am a big Browning fan, and I had the same question about six months ago. I bought the Benelli SBE, and broke it in with three boxes of 3.5" rounds. After my shoulder recoverd I have run 1 oz. loads with never a failure to cycle. I had to work the trigger a little bit (long pull) but I now have it to where I can shoot 25 straight in trap. Great shotgun, I am thinking of another SBE for my son.
