Marlin Ballard Patent
Anyone out there with some expertise on the Marlin Ballard Patent Pacific Rifle No.5 in 38-55 Cal? I just happen to have one that I know little about. This one does have the double set triggers and also a long range adjustable peep sight mounted just behind the receiver. It's missing the wiping rod. The action works fine and the bore looks pretty good to me. The metal finish has no rust. I also have a bullet mold and some hand other reloading tools. Mainly, I'd like to learn more about what I have here.
Thanks in advance, John
