Hey Everyone. My brother in law is ready to get a pistol. He's particular about what he likes. I have personal experience with several brands of handguns but not CZ. Can anyone give me any feedback on these. He's decided on 9mm. He does not plan on it being a carry gun so size is not so much an issue. Thanks for any insight>Chris 0 -
I have owned a CZ 97B for about 17 months and realy like it. The reliability is excellent. The accuracy is very good at 2 to 2.5 inches off of sand bag rest at 25 yards on a calm day. Mine has a matte finish which has held up well but I would have prefered a blued one. If you get a 97 be sure read the instructions on how to replace the barrel bushing after disassembly. It's very easy but very different from a 1911 Colt. The magazine holds 10 rounds which I also like. I payed $489 plus tax for mine but that was a while ago and they were some what new on the USA market. I have put only a little over 2000 rounds thru mine so I don't have any information on long term durability but every thing on the weapon looks fine at this point. Good luck in what ever you choose.
