I, for one, am completely stumped on this one. I find no references to Twist or Estul in any of my books. Is this a rifle or a pistol? Does the gun have other markings? The name Estul looks Spanish--but? You'll have to give us a better description of the gun and it's markings for us to track it down.

Sorry, should have given ya'll more info. Estul is a company that is still here in the U.S. A tool company I think, but you can look them up on the internet. I did once but they only told me they don't make them anymore. The Estul Twist22 is a derringer (about 4" long, 2" high, very small). The frame is brass with a stainless steel barrel. It shoots .22 shorts only. After you fire the first shot, you hit a small button on the bottom and twist the barrel for the second shot, hence the 'Twist22'. I have it at my gunsmith right now because the leaf type spring lost some of its power. The amazing thing is, I can hit a tin can at 10 feet with this thing, while my Davis .38 derringer that has sights can't hit the floor if you dropped it. It's really a very neat little gun.

I had some of these back when they were being made, late 1970's if memory serves. They were neat little guns. Concealable in a watch pocket.

Back then, wholesale price on them was well under $20, so that might give you some idea of their current value. They were of decent quality, having stainless steel barrels and brass frames, and they were not made for long, so there might be some collector interest among those who like tiny guns.
