Should I trust my rem. 1187 sp after this
I bought an 1187 super mag. 2 years ago. It has been back to the factory twice since then because it will not hold together or cycle properly. They assured me this time that they completely repaired it. I'm a serious hunter and don't like down time should I trade it off now or give it another shot.

Take it out and test it yourself... Put several rounds thru it and see if it still malfunctions. I currently possess 2 11-87's and never had problems with either of them, having fired several hundred rounds thru one, and possibly a couple thousand thru the other. I've had a few others pass thru my hands and didn't have any problems with them either.
If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

Why would you want to trade off your problems to someone unknown to you. Its not your fault that you got a lemon, make Remington stand up to their product. After it is fixed and you still have fears of reliability then unload it. You don't like down time how about the next guy? 0 -

Any adult who buys anything used should ask questions. I didn't say I would lie and try to swindle someone. I was talking about trading it in at the same dealership I purchased it from in the first place, and they are the ones who returned it both times. So I would assume they know what they are getting !!!!!!0
