Expl. Targets...
Hello everyone.
I've been searching around the net, to find some exploding targets for fun riflepractise.
I know there's sometimes auctions on these thingys, and they sometimes say "Will ship internationally, see item describtion" - item describtion says "Will ship to 50 states, and them some".
But when I ask for shipping fees or a total prize on an order - I usually get "I don't export exploding anything's".
Some say yes at first, but back out...
I'd like to know where to buy them - from someone who DO ship internationally. FOR SURE !!
If they have Exotic ammo - then I'm also very interested.

Peter,
Shipping any sort of live munitions out of the country was a royal PITA *before* 9-11-01; it's only gotten worse since. I have international customers, but all of them make their own shipping arrangements for live material and from what I've been able to infer, a "Don't ask, don't tell" policy is best for all concerned. I'd be willing to look into it from this end, but you would have to make sure you had all the import licenses, bureaucratic permissions & etc. to ensure I could actually ship it to you.
I do know it would have to go by ship and I have no clue how to go about that. Basically, if it is worth enough to you to invest the legwork, I'll see if I can help you.0 -
Hello Iconoclast
Thank you for your help.
I've expected the permissions and legislation and I know it's a big mouthfull to take, just to get an initial order.
I just want to try the friggin thingys out. =o)
I think I'll try to find out wether Expl.Targets are pyrotechnic-stuff or such and just forget the Exotic ammo for now.
It might be easier for just one of the items at a time, pyrotechnics are easy to import, so's ammo - but I'll try to find out whats needed.
But thanks - I'll keep you in mind. =o) and thanks for the positive answer too.
Great to know it isn't all blocked in beurocratic crappo..

Peter The "exploding" targets I've seen are 2 part deals like an epoxy that has to be mixed in the proper proportion.Only after the material has been mixed does it become explosive. As stated things have become sensitive since 9-11 when it comes to ANYTHING considered explosive.I would think that having the ingredients shipped separatly would make sense, but I'm sure there is a regulation somewhere between here and you getting to shoot an exploding target that will take all the fun out of it.Good luck!!
