The original Cetme will not accept the HK mag, not sure about the clones now avaiable. The Cetme mag will fit the HK's and clones but is very loose, sloppy and rattles a lot, but will fit, feed and not fall out.

Its built on a CIA reciever using surplus parts w/ 8 american made components. I've got a few original 20rd curved CETME magazines and a few straight G3 mags. They all fit about the same, none rattle or fit loose or to tight or anything.

Years ago I had a original Cetme, made in Spain, not one of the new US made parts guns, the HK mags would not fit it.
I currently have an HK SR9-T; the Cetme mags fit loose and rattle ...
I also have an HK clone, built on the Portugal FMP (HK licensed) receiver, the Cetme mags also fit it fairly loosely, but not as bad as on the HK SR9-T ...
I don't mean to step on anyone's toes, but this is first hand knowledge based on actual experience. These new Cetme and HK "cloned" receivers are not built under license of HK or Cetme much less on HK or Cetme equipment. They are reverse engineered by the lowest bidder, which would explain the variance of tolerances and explain a lot of problems some buyers have with them, such as mag fit, stiff op-rod/charging handles, sights being cocked to one side or the other ...

I'm sorry kimber kid, I wasn't trying to imply that you weren't correct or anything. And you absolutely 100% right about the knock off recievers.
