Who makes the best .380acp ammo?

Why would you want to buy .380 ACP that's not hollow point ammo, as it's such an underpowered round? Functioning problem? I still like PMC ElDorado Starfire in my FEG APK, although the Federal Hydra-shok is rated better. If it's plain old FMJ you want there probably isn't much difference in any of the brands loaded to SAMMI specs.

Cause we have local 3-gun matches, and they always throw in a "backup gun" shoot, and I got a Colt Govt .380acp that I'm gonna use.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

I've gotten perfectly fine results from S&B and Magtech. Try a box and see if it works for you.

I know that this is pretty much an opinionated type of question, but I had a friend who asked me this and I told him to stick with Winchester, Federal, and other name brands, avioding wolf and cheap import ammo, and just wanted a post to back me up, cause when he came over I popped it up on my screen so he could read it. Also, he doesn't reload, and I pick his brass up so I wanted him to get something that has decent brass.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

There is no such thing as "best." Like asking what the best car is or best paint is.
If ammo meets saami specs it will be of adequate quality. Price of ammo does not indicate quality. Major manufacturers don't make junk. they spend small fortunes on testing, evaluation and research.
The foreign ammo is also of good quality.
Many shooters love to bash a particular brand. With over 3700 students thru our classes we see it all. We have seen bad ammo out of all brands of factory. We had some remington .45 acp with no rim cut, federal premium with no primers, and some corbon where the bullets pushed into the casings.
Most semi autos at some point will be fussy over which ammunition they prefer. I have a Mak that will NOT shoot anything but FMJ style bullets. Spose I could polish the ramp, but I don't need to shoot anything but FMJ.
So before you bash ammunition stop and think of what you are saying. Enough bad info out there without making more. And one experience isn't a trend. As for "best" it's what you like regardless of brand or price.
