Are there any laws-Canadian or U.S-prohibiting me from sending a Choate folding stock (STOCK ONLY) for a mini-14, to a friend in Canada?

  Not breaking any Canadian laws to my knowledge. They will ding your friend 15% at the border though.
  Theere may be some US laws about exporting gunparts. You can't even send rings to Canada anymore. A little paranoia on Uncle Sam's side I think.
