Pentax Scopes

Does anyone have any experience with Pentax scopes and what type of quality would you rate them? I have a chance to pick one up on a trade and was wondering if it is a useful optic.

  How are the Pentax Whitetails unlimted rifle scopes? I had heard Burris makes them, any truth to this?? I got a brand new one (4x14x50) for $250.00, the price at many dealers on the net is in the $499 range.

  you made a good purchase with the pentax for 250 and the 450 to 500 range is about right i have a pentax lightseeker 2 it is real nice, you will be pleased

  I beleive that Burris makes the scopes with Pentax optics. I have a Lightseeker as well & I prefer it over many other more expensive name brands. You got a good deal for $250. Want to sell it to me for $100?rg

  Thanks for the info, I thought it was a good deal to pick up a $500 scope for $250. If you wait long enough, some auctions really pay off.
