Tasco riflescope repairs
Does anyone know if Tasco is still offering repair services and / or warrantee repairs on their riflescopes??? I understand they are out of business or going out of business... How do I contct them?? phone # or E-mail??

Tasco is belly up,but there are Rumors of another credible company buying the factory.If so they should honor Tascos warranty program.To see if their website is still up try www.tasco.com

Someone on here posted that there was some shop in Florida doing repairs on Tasco scopes until sometime this fall (Sorry, I don't own any, so did not memorize). I gather after that, either the new owners will be servicing the warrenty or you will be buying a new scope. Save your nickels and get a Burris.

It was me who posted about the Tasco repairs. I had one and a friend had one so I called the number on the sheet included with the scope. I got another number to call and it was ABO/USA in Miami and they said that all repairs for warranty had to be in their shop by 8/8/02. I sent the scopes with the 10.00 each for repairs and the package was signed for on 8/1/01 and I check for delivery each day but as yet haven't received them back yet! As someone already said save your money for quality!! Nikon, Leopold, Burris, LEICA, Zeiss or that big S word that I can't pronounce! Whoever buys them is going to have a major PR problem with the shooting public!! GHD 0 -
Tasco is going out of business but their product line is being picked up by bushnell. During this transition time all warranty repairs are being handled by ABO USA INC. One note here is that ABO charges $23.00 not the $10.00 as indicated in your tasco manual. Also tasco fixed a lot of my optics for $10.00 no questions asked but the very first scope I sent to ABO was not repaired until I sent an additional $25.00 for the "part". I've had the same part break and tasco repaired it free,less $10.00. ABO will not do the same. Please note that my scope has a lifetime warranty. No more tasco products for me!!
