Walther PP with no markings
On a recent pawn shop visit I spotted what appears to be a PP. It has the Plastic Walther grips, with the wavey Walther logo. The gum has a serial number on the right grip behind the trigger guard, followed by a p. another number on the right side of the gun, with AC below it. When was the gun made, What is it worth, It is in probably Good condition.

I have took a second look at the PP. The serial number is 389343 followed by a slightly lower p, The number on the foward part of the slide is, 392886 fowwowed by the p. below the numbers are the faint letters AC. 0 -
During WWII, the Germans identified the manufacturer of pistols with a letter code; "ac" = Walther, "byf" = Mauser, and "cyq" = Spreewerke.
Value depends upon caliber, variation, markings, originality, alterations, and % of finish. Without knowing these, I'd guess that it's worth no more than $200.
Would you like to tell us the asking price?
