Buy it, you'll like it. Loaded up it's noticably lighter than the 7.62x39
Magazines are more expensive though.
I knew one guy who popped woodchucks on his farm with an AK in 223 and liked it.0 -
How much? I had heard they were quite rare and supposedly something likt 1 made to every 100 7.62x39's. I love my MAK, I'd say go for it!

When buying a new gun, remember, it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission.0 -
I have one of these.I like it except for the fact it dents the brass when they are ejected.Unless you hand load this is not a problem.Nice gun, mine is an NHM-90 I believe the only difference that I know of is that mine came with a Bishop Walnut stock that I did not like.

I HAVE A 223 LISTED ON THIS SITE. EMAIL. duckhunter140@hotmail.com
I WOULD RATHER BE DUCK HUNTING.0 -
Had one, liked it but had to sell or register it (People's Demokratik Republik of Kalifornia.) Only problem will be finding magazines & the price you will pay for them.
If I had the choise I would buy the 7.62X39 for just that reason.0
