    "It depends." Condition, load, etc. Unless they are something really unusual &/or in *mint* condition, $10 tops. As a collectible, they are common, as shooters, they're old.

    Thanks for the responses. Guess I'll use them for hunting and save the John Wayne comm. I have, as they're worth more, at least on the auctions!!!!

    fragments - again, depends on age / load. If you know how they've been stored and they are SP, you should be OK. If you don't know what sort of care they've had, you might want to consider the cost of the ammo vs. the loss of a shot from a misfire. If they are lead, they could well be black powder - that headstamp covers a *long* period. Personally, I don't use any older ammo for hunting, although I have a slew of it. Punching targets is one thing, but I've seen too many misfires from smokeless loads due to age & improper storage to trust it when a game tag was on the line.
