indoor range

I just purchased a new home that has a separate shop. The shop is two story with the first floor a two door garage with an office. The second floor is a large room. I would like to convert one bay to an indoor shooting range for pellet and 22lr pistol.I know I would have to have a bullet trap, ventilation system, sound proofing, etc.Has anyone else done this? Are the any plans or equipment manufacturers for this type of venture.Thanks.. 0 -

If you're thinking basement range also think ventilation, pulling air away from shooters and exhausting from the target area. Even the lead compounds from primer powered rubber bullets are unhealthy to breathe. 0 -
I would imagine whatever you swept from the floor can't be put in the regular trash or down the sewer. It would be too contaminated.
I have a friend who has a public indoor range. He has told me stories of how difficult it is to comply with all the environmental regulations.0
