not feeding or ejecting

Got an old 22 semi-auto Winchester. Believe it's a model 190 as I am not where I can look up the model no. I have taken it down and cleaned it thouroughly. It still wants to jam. Trouble shoot me please.

  Not easy to troubleshoot, as you can't see anything when it is assembled.
  
  As far as feeding goes, the U-shaped piece at the front of the trigger assembly is under spring pressure, and should block the magazine and lift a cartridge when in the up position. The lever end of this piece is pushed down by the breech block. Are cartridges being picked up from the mag tube, and are they hitting the breech face rather than going into the chamber?
  
  Have you removed the breech block? The extractor and ejector need to be undamaged and function freely.
