YES THEY WORK, I INSTALL SEVERAL OF THESE A YEAR FOR TRAP SHOOTERS. THEY CAN CHANGE THE BALANCE OF THE SHOT GUN THOUGH.

I have 2 two-pounders in my M1A match rifle which does change the balance quite a bit, but I also use a heavy Kriger stainless barrel on it ... recoil is waaay reduced and follow up shots are much quicker (espically in the standing position) ... highly reccomend!

They also seem to help with wear and tear on your Gun,Im quite fond of them.Simply because they do seem to Absorb alot of your recoil.

    Best!!

They work great, I have some in some of my old pump action shotguns that I use heavy loads for goose and waterfowl hunting.

If I'm wrong please correct me, I won't be offended.

The sound of a 12 gauge pump clears a house fatser than Rosie O eats a Big Mac !

I'm immune to recoil. Had one put in the buttstock of my 450 Ackley about 9 years ago. Didn't seem to notice much difference. Have a Browning Gold 10 that does not have a recoil reducer in it and it doesn't seem to be that bad at the recoil dept. If the Browning Gold you have is chambered for 12 gauge 3.5" you might want to consider dropping down to the 3" shells. The 3.5" are loaded to just a little bit higher pressures.
